Generatepress theme
If you search online or watched a youtube video you might have heard the name of generatepress theme. It’s an easy theme and it is fast and not a heavy theme.
If you are starting your journey in WordPress I would say you should install this theme and activate it.
There are a lot of things you can do as a beginner. They have a pro version also. If you want your website to have a great design you have to buy the pro version. Free is not going to cut it if you want to create a nice looking blog website.
They have starter site a demo you can import but its only for pro users.
pro tips: If you use this use the pro do not think of using the free version for a live website.
kadence theme
This is my favorite WordPress theme. you see this website I build it with Kadence. I love Kadence because they are always trying to improve the Theme. here you can edit the header and the footer in the free vertion.
lot of starter site you can chose from. you can do great degin with Gutenberg and Kadence. if you love to work with Elementor website builder no problem.
